Coronavirus: COVID-19:  Nigeria Immigration  Service Suspends Processing Of Passports, Others.

In line with the Government’s directives on Restrictions on International flight to avoid the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede has directed for the temporary suspension of processing of passport and Migrant e-Registration effective from 23rd March to 23rd April, 2020.

In a release by the Deputy Comptroller Immigration, Sunday James, Public Relations Officer, the Comptroller Babandede said however, the Service will take advantage of this period to process all pending passport cases, adding that the public would be informed when they are ready for collection.
He however regret any inconvenience this may cause the general public within this period, while assuring  Nigerians of their continued service.
The Immigration Comptroller announced that the following Emergency lines were available for contacting the Immigration Service within the period.
They include 07080607900,  08119753844,  08147199908.
