The Nigerian Shippers’ Council has lost one of Its staff, Yusuf Muniru, to the cold hands of death on Monday, 4th May,2020 at the age of 52.
In his tribute, the Executive Secretary/CEO NSC, Hassan Bello who commiserated with the wife of the deceased and his children in his home in Igando, Lagos described late Muniru as a diligent and ever cheerful colleague who was dedicated to his work, despite his health challenges bordering on Hypertension and diabetes.
Bello disclosed that the deceased recently took delivery of a new bus and was looking forward to conveying returning staff to work Monday morning, but suddenly took ill early Monday morning and thereafter slumped.
The NSC Boss who described his demise as a sad loss assured of the Council’s support to the family through this difficult time.
A release by the Head Public Relations, Rakiya Zubairu said Yusuf Muniru who had been buried would be missed by his wife, Mary Oladunjoye and Five Children as well as his colleagues in the Nigerian Shippers’ Council.
