The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, Nagaff, Tin can Island Chapter has announced the death of her Vice Chairman, Forwarder Kenneth Chidozie Okoro-Obi. Aged 54.
Fwdr. Okoro-Obi who was the Managing Director/CEO Global Gate West Africa Limited, died after a brief illness on Thursday, 28th of May, 2020.
A release by Nagaff, Tin can Island Chapter said a service of songs organised in his honour would take place on Friday, 21st August, 2020 by two O’clock in the afternoon at the chapter Secretariat, NPA Office complex, opposite Corn Oil filling station, Tin can Island, Apapa, Lagos.
According to the release, his burial will take place on the 28th of August, 2020 in his home town, Umuaro 11 village, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
Late Fwdr. Kenneth Okoro-Obi is survived y his wife, children and a host of other relations.
Meanwhile, the chairman of Nagaff, Tin can Island chapter, High Chief Austine Ekweozor who commiserated with the family of their late colleague, described as sudden, said late Kenneth was a very intelligent, unassuming, hardworking and kind personality.
He said, the deceased had contributed immensely to the growth and development of the association in Tin can Island, regretting that the vacuum he created by his exit, would be difficult to fill up, which praying God to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
