The leadership and entire membership of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) felicitate with all their Muslim brothers and sisters on this occasion of the Eid- Mubarak.
The President of MWUN, Adeyanju Adewale, in a statement made available to the Press said the Association appreciates the collaboration of the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), National inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Seaports Terminal Operators Association of Nigeria (STOAN), NASC, employers and stakeholders in providing a convivial atmosphere for work and workers.
The Union also congratulated President Mohamadu Buhari, and his team for galvanising impressive growth within the maritime sub Sector and putting in place regulations and standards to govern service and marine operations.
Furthermore, it said: “Our appreciation also goes to the honourable ministers of Transportation and Labour for their commitment to developing the place of the Nigerian working people.
“Lastly, we thank our fellow comrades for keeping faith with us . May Allah continue to bless us this season and forever. Happy Eid Mubarak.”
