… appeals for understanding of stakeholders
In a bid to address recent challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja respectively, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has commenced the installation of check in and screening equipment.
The agency added that additional 15 security screening machines have been procured for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and are already being installed, as well.
It appealed to the understanding of airlines, passengers and other stakeholders while the installation lasts.
“The Authority is using this opportunity to appeal to all stakeholders to please bear with us while the installation would last, as all hands are on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project,” FAAN said in a statement.
