NAGAFF GETS NEW PRESIDENT, EZISI

Following the dissolution of its National Executive Committee (NECOM), the Founder of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has appointed Hon. Tochukwu Ezisi as the new President of  NAGAFF.
Hon. Ezisi who hails from Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State takes over from Chief Increase Uche , whose 4-year tenure will elapse on the 30th of October, 2021.
Dr. Aniebonam announced his appointment on Wednesday during  Honourable Tochukwu’s birthday party at the Association’s headquarters in Apapa, Lagos.
The NAGAFF new  President  was an Executive Member of the Apapa chapter of NAGAFF before his appointment as well as a member of the immediate past Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) Governing Board.
Dr. Aniebonam had earlier disclosed his desire in an interview with some Journalists in his office   to have a President who understands NAGAFF and the vision so as to take the Association to enviable height in the Industry
”Whoever  must be the *resident of NAGAFF must understand NAGAFF properly what it tends to  achieve, not just anybody.It’s not like what is happening in CRFFN,  from no where you just get people. They don’t understand what CRFFN is all about. This is the truth of the matter.” he said.
In his acceptance Speech , the newly appointed President of NAGAFF, Hon. Fwdr Tochukwu Ezisi assured to do all he can to move the association forward as well as relocating NAGAFF to its permanent secretariate within two years.
It would be recalled that the Chairman Board of Trustee of NAGAFF, Chief Chidiebere Enelamah had in a letter dated  September 30th, 2021 announced the  the dissolution of the NECOM come October 30th.
According to Chief Enelamah, “the decision to dissolve the NECOM follwed a resolution passed during the meeting of the National Executive Council(NEC) of Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the Conference room, National headquarters.
“The resolution is a consequence of the fact that the Tenure of the current NECOM, which commenced on October 31, 2017 will expire by October, 30,2021, having run a full tenure of 4 years.
“You are therefore requested to hand over all documents and property, belonging to the Association that are in your care to the Board of Trustees(BOT).
“I wish to extend my appreciation for your contributions as the National President of this great Association in the last four years.
