Owner of the collapsed butilding at Ikoyi in Lagos State has been arrested and will be prosecuted for building 21 floors instead of 15 approved by the government.
It would be recalled that the said building located at 20 Gerrard Road, collapsed on Monday by 2.45p.m as dozens of people were at the site when the incident occurred.
According to the General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency(LSBCA), Gbolahan Oki, Four people have been rescued alive and three dead bodies were recovered as well, while rescue team are continuing search for the rest people trapped.
