Breaking News:    AIG Maritime Orders unconditional Release of Blocked Containers

 In a bid to decongest the ports and terminals,  the Assistant Inspector General of Police Maritime Police Command, Force Headquarters, Annex Lagos  has directed that all containers blocked on or before 1st March be released unconditionally, while investigation continues.
This will also pave way for free flow of inbound and outbound cargoes.
This was contained In a letter addressed to the National President of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Chief Tochukwu Ezisi endorsed by the Deputy Director Monitoring and Enforcement, Mrs Ada Ifeora on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO, Nigerian Shippers’Council.
The letter,  however advised the association head to ask his members to proceed to the terminals to clear their withheld containers as directed by the AIG.
