Easter Celebration:.  NAGAFF National President Felicitates with Christians in Maritime Industry.

The National President of Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) Chief Tochukwu Ezisi has used the occasion of Easter celebration to felicitate with members of the Association, Practitioners and Stakeholders in the International Trade Security and Supply Chain Management

Chief Ezisi in his Easter message expressed optimism that the essence of the Season will usher in an unbroken light that will continue to shine beyond human comprehension and succour to mankind.
He re-stated that  the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead remains the epic -centre and spiritual values of every believer and admonished them to renew their minds, be positive and resolute  that the impediments that has limited the growth of the Industry will be over.
The NAGAFF Boss urged them to emulate and demonstrate the love if God to mankind which is the reason for the season by giving hope and new ease of life to their fellow beings beyond the Industry.
Chief Ezisi  further said, “Equally, we must come together as a people of common destiny of nationhood to overcome the multifaceted challenges that confronts us individually, collectively and our Industry in general.”
He however called for fervent prayers and intercession for our nation, Nigeria to overcome its present challenges of tribalism, Insecurity, economic downturn, unemployment, corruption, labour problems and poor governance which has subjected the greater numbers to abject poverty and defencelessness.
The NAGAFF Chief Executive used the occasion to reassure frieght forwarders of the commitment of NAGAFF towards embracing constructive engagements, dialogue, consultation and effective communication as a tool to drive its public policy advocacy aimed at addressing the myriad of challenges confronting our port industry value adding supply chain
“May I seize this occasion to reassure the FreightForwardingpractitioners, that Nagaff will continue as part of our mission statement of “ushering professional Freight Forwarding practices in the Nigeria intrenational frontiers” will embrace constructive engagements, dialogue, consultation and effective communication as a tool to drive its public policy advocacy aimed at addressing the myriad of challenges confronting our port industry value adding supply chain”, he added.
His message further reads, “may I also imploy all faithfuls irrespective of religious inclinations to fervently pray and intercede for our country to overcome its present challenges of tribalism, insecurity, economic down turn, unemployment, corruption, labour problems and poor governance which has subjected the greater numbers to abject poverty and defenselessness.
“Knowing that, we dont have monopoly of our lives, it behooves on us to hopefully and squarely confront such salient obstacles facing us, ranging from: primordial considerations for appointments, lack of fiscal federalism, lack of intellectual rigour and discipline in our citadels of learning, primitive acquisition of wealth by public officers and value distortions , I trust that, with our forthrightness and prayers, we will turn things around for the good of all.

“Pursuance to this obligations, collectively we will not relent in calling for good governance and accountability in our country, especially. amongst the relevant agencies of the government in the Maritime Industry . Adherence to the rules of engagements should be all encompassing.
” Finally, believing that our Christian brothers and sisters have all been re-invigorated by the inherent graces and internalized the lessons of the Easter season and I also wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a successful Ramadan period, while urging them to pray for the wellness of our industry and the unity andpeace of our dear nation.
“The lessons of Easter, impel us to live by examples and strive at all times to lighten the world by being homilies of sorts by our words and deeds.
“Having said these, I wish the Maritime Industry stakeholders, especially the Freight Forwarding practitioners a happy Easter celebrations and pray for the abiding love of God to abide with us, always.
“Happy Easter and may God bless Nigeria, the Freight Forwarding profession in particularly and the Maritime Industry in general.
