…… Believes NNPP will clinch the presidential seat in the next election
In its bid to mobilise millions of voters for its sister political party, New Nigeria Peoples’Party (NNPP) for 2023 general elections, the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has commenced moves to sensitive its members on the need for active involvement.
NAGAFF which is the biggest Freight Forwarding Association in the maritime Industry has also set up a Trust Fund Committee called on other freight forwarders to embrace the Party, which according to them will protect their interest and reposition the sector.
In his own speech, the Deputy President of NAGAFF, Fwdr. Simeon Nwonu expressed confidence that by the end of this year, NNPP will be the leading political party in Nigeria and will win overwhelmingly come 2023 presidential election.
Fwdr. Nwonu who urged their members to be ambassadors of NNPP with a view of wooing people into the party, commended the founder for always being consistent in the pursuit of any goal he believes in. “Dr. Aniebonam is a man who doesn’t believe in failure but in success. .
Speaking also, the National Women Leader of NAGAFF, Deaconess Kate Oghagbon assured to work assiduously with her executives to mobilise women in the Industry to join NNPP.
“We will move from place to place, to books and cranny of the Industry, canvassing for votes for our visionary party. We will not rest until we have spread this message and gotten the support of our fellow women freight forwarders for NNPP, a party that will enhance our operations in the port, care for our wellbeing and promote ease of doing business in the industry”, she added.
It would recalled that the Chairman Board of Trustees, NAGAFF, Chief Chidiebere Enelamah in an interview with journalist shortly after the critical stakeholders meeting of NAGAFF Officials at its headquarters in Lagos, maintained that the association has vowed to do all it call to mobilise and take NNPP to greater heights.
He called on members of the association to mobilize family, friends, relatives , neighbours and professional colleagues etc to support the movement of NNPP adding that already the political party is gradually becoming a household name.
“NNPP a baby of NAGAFF is doing well and as the parent of that political party we don’t need to sleep.”
he Former President of NAGAFF, Chief Eugene Nweke on his part noted that NNPP was a child of public policy advocacy, adding that the party’s nomenclature will continue to attract more followers considering the numerous challenges faced in the country.
