He made it clear that Kwankwaso is the party’s sole Presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general elections which will be officially confirmed during the NNPP convention scheduled to take place in Abuja on the 8th of June, 2023.
“Kwankwaso, on the 8th of this month there will be a national convention of the New Nigeria Peoples’Party where he will be confirmed the concensus candidate of the Party”, he stated.

“How he is going to do it is to bring Nigerians together. Bring the Biafrans , bring the Oduduwa’s, bring Arewa’s, bring the Niger Deltans together and ask them what their problem is and they will all present their issues. A decision will be taking for us to live together as brothers and sisters. Kwankwaso is coming to bring everybody together.”
Dr Aniebonam used the opportunity to advise Nigerians to go back to their states and mobilise people with their PVCs to vote their own party into power so as to appreciate dividends of democracy.
