Our correspondents who visited Tin can Island Chapter on fact finding mission said  the Caretaker Committee Executives were busy sorting out individual member files, containing all the relevant documents in preparation for the accreditation exercise on Monday 25 th July, 2022 and handing same over to their  owners.

Speaking  in an interview, the caretaker Committee Chairman, Tin can Island Chapter,Dr. Good luck Onunji who  disclosed that they had put their axes together for a successful outing Monday , said about 194 registered members of NAGAFF  will be screened .

On the disqualification of some  former  EXCO members of the immediate past administration of the chapter who are  vying for various positions in the coming election  for non remittance of  N2 million  monthly subscription to the National Headquarters Dr. Onunji said the immediate past Chairman of Tin can Island Chapter, High Chief Azubuike Ekweozor has  cleared the debt on behalf of the  Chapter thereby giving them room to participate in the election.

He used the forum to advice the contestants not to see the election as a do or die affair but to go about their campaigns peacefully, focus on their manifesto only and avoid campaign of calumny.

On the expectation from the  forthcoming elections as it concerns the chapter, he said , “Yes For the forthcoming election by the grace of God, the people that I have seen that  have bought the form, I am proud of them, because when we came here as interim executives, I call them and said, please if you are coming here in this Tin can Island  chapter to serve, go home and  think twice so that you won’t regret it  when you are been called or suspended or fish out for inefficiency.  They came back and told me that they are ready to serve and that whatever mistake they made in the past,  they will correct this time while the new ones amongst them promised to make new inputs.  Presently, about 194 registered members are to be  screened today

So we are on it. By the grace of God, this incoming executives will not disappoint themselves, will not disappoint NAGAFF, will not disappoint National and will not disappoint our Founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam.”
