2023 Elections: Senator Kwankwaso Storms Lagos. ******””Seeks Social Contract with Maritime Stakeholders.

As part of its strategy to clinch the Presidency seat come 2023, the New Nigeria Peoples’Party (NNPP) Presidential Candidate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso will on Tuesday, 23rd of August storm Lagos to brainstorm with the maritime stakeholders in a town hall meeting.

Senator Kwankwaso who will be accompanied by his running mate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa and other party stalwarts will use the forum to interact with Maritime Stakeholders to ascertain the needs of this all important sector.

The Maritime Stakeholders will in a meeting in Ikeja Sheraton hotels seek social contract with the NNPP Presidential Flag bearer on the need to implement a maritime agenda if he wins the 2023 Presidential elections.

The convener of the Prime Maritime Project,, a Maritime and Transport Logistics-centric solution which interface with all other political parties and Presidential Candidates in the 2023 forthcoming elections, Elder Asu Becks said in a Press Briefing said  the Maritime Industry holds a whooping N91 Trillion worth of resources and investments and that there are about ,N25 million votes in the sector alone.

ASU Becks pointed out that that any political party that wants to win the election must reach an agreement with operators on their plan for the maritime sector which according to him, has been abandoned for years .

The Town Hall meeting  scheduled for 10am will be chaired and moderated by a Maritime technocrat, Otumba Kunle Folarin, chairman Nigerian Ports Consultative Council(NPCC).
