Another Major shake- up at NCS …14 Area Controllers Redeployed

The Nigeria Customs Service has carried out another reshuffling exercise with the deployment of some Area Controllers to other Commands and the service headquarters in Abuja.

The Area Controllers affected include Comptrollers Hussein Ejibunu of Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone A, Lagos, Compt Kayode Kolade, FOU Zone C in Owerri and Compt Chedi Wada of FOU Zone B, Kaduna.

Others include Comptroller Ahmadu Bello Shuaibu, Comptroller Igbadi , Comptr. Salefu, Comptr. Sdegbite, Comptr. Ojo, Comptr.M.I Awe, Comptr. M.S Yusuf, Comptr.Babadende, Comptr Bamisaye, Comptr. Luka, and Compr. Imam.

A release from the Service revealed that Comptroller Oladeji has been transfered to Federal Operations Unit(FOU), Zone A, while Compt Ejibunu now returns to the Service headquarters in Abuja.

Comptroller Ahmadu Bello Shauibu was moved to the Federal Operations Unit, zone B, Kaduna, while Compt Igbadi MIC will continue from where Compt. Kayode Kolade stopped in his anti-smuggling war at FOU, Owerri.

Compt. Salifu will be heading to FOU Zone D, while Compt Adegbite will be in charge of the PTML Command as the new boss.

Compt Ojo will take over responsibility at Ogun I, Idiroko, while Compt M.T Awe will replace Compt M.S Yusuf at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Command (MMAC).

Compt Bamisaye, according to the release, will be at the hem of affairs at Western Marine Command as Comptr. Babandede moves to Onne Command in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to take over from Comptr. Imam who will now be in charge of Import and Export at the Headquarters, Abuja, whereas Compt Luka will be heading to Imo/Abia Command as the Area Controller and Comptr. Chedi Wada will be at the Service headquarters in Abuja.
