The federal government has impounded an aircraft belonging Flair Aviation, a U.K. Company, for operating commercial flights against contrary to the approval granted to it.
The disclosure came through the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Hadi Sirika, via his twitter handle @hadisirika on Sunday (today). He said the airline was granted approval for humanitarian operations but was found to have engaged in commercial operations.

He also said the crew had been interrogated.

Sitika described the airline’s conduct as “callous” saying maximum penalty will be meted out to it.
“COVID-19. Flair Aviation, a UK company, was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably we caught them conducting commercial flights.
“This is callous! The craft is impounded, crew being interrogated. There shall be maximum penalty. Wrong time to try our resolve!” he tweeted
